Emmett has served in roles that bridge clinical practice, education, and community outreach. As an Advanced Social Work Intern at Long-Washington Counseling and Consulting, he provided direct counseling services, developed treatment plans, and assisted in EMDR therapy. Additionally, he played a key role in launching a mental health awareness social media campaign to enhance community engagement.

As a Residence Life Manager at Daymark Living, Emmett developed community-building programs, mentored staff, and established an Emergency Response Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to streamline crisis intervention protocols. His commitment to mental health advocacy extends to his work as a Social Media Mental Health Advocate, where he creates educational content addressing PTSD, anxiety, depression, and veteran mental health.
